Introduction
The location for the project was a lawn next to the Pompenburg in Rotterdam.
There was no specific function given by the client, therefore I had basicly all the freedom to come up with a concept and a design.
Concept
After a lot of research I noticed that the location was used for fairs and other events. Also , before the bombardment of Rotterdam, there was a famous cinema close to this location. So I wanted to bring the amusement and entertainment back to the place. I made an building inspired on a circus tent. Within the building there would be preformed different acts, which vary by day or week.
